Changes this week! So listen carefully....
The Tuesday Night party is kind of like an open house that happens
every week. If you've never been, check it out! 9:30, 3142 1st Ave S.
Wednesday: Canyengue! Even if you never dance it, you should know what
it means and be able to identify the music. But I bet if you learn it,
you will want to learn more about this fun variation of tango! 7:00
to 8:30, 3142 1st Ave S
Thursday: Sorry, guys, the women win out. I will replace the Leader's
Technique class with Follower's Technique, starting this Thursday.
Every week we will go through a series of exercises designed to
improve your following and enhance your ability to adorn and
embellish. 7:00, 3142 1st Ave. For now, just one hour, but I'm
guessing we might like longer.
Saturday: Tango to the Blues and Blues Dancing.
7:00 PM Tango to the Blues (and other alternative music). Blues music
has many similarities to tango, and sometimes is more approachable
than tango because our ears are more familiar with it. I always see
an increase in tango understanding with people who take this class
8:00 PM Blues Dancing Blues Dancing is a fairly new dance that allows
us to interpret slow blues music with dance. It is deceptive - not as
easy as it looks! Kind of like tango....
Then we'll head out to to practice what we've learned and join other
members of the blues dance community. Of course everyone is welcome to
join us, even if you don't take the classes!
$10 per class Where? Lessons are at 3142 1st Ave S, and lots
of people start out from here. I haven't decided where we'll go
afterwards. Watch for an email on Thursday, or visit my website.

P.S. A special thanks to all who came out to the Black Dog Sat, making
it "the best one ever" as David pronounced. The Black Dog has been
really good to the tango community, and it is wonderful for you to
support them!
