[Tango] Tango this week - Black Dog and beyond

*Happy birthday, David*! Tonight at the Milonga Martes party, we'll
celebrate. Maybe a green cake? The corned beef is David's specialty, but
since he doesn't know about this special party, I'll have to make it.
Remember, this time, he gets the spanking! Milonga Martes is every Tuesday,
3142 1st Ave S.

In classes this week - time to stat cracking the whip. Technique! We're
going to push through the veil of tango and get that dreamy feel that makes
it all worth while.

*Westtango classes* are turning out not to be so series-based, and more
drop-in. So come when you can, and check it out! Old Arizona Studios, 8PM
Wednesdays.

Saturday is the Black Dog Milonga*. As promised, we will have a Dance
Partner Matchup. You'll be able to wear a sticker that identifies you as
interested, and you can choose to indicate what level you are interested in,
interested in sharing private lessons, and days you can practice. And as a
special bonus, if you find a partner that evening, you can sign up for a
private lesson at half price! Saturday March 21st, 308 Prince St. St. Paul.
Lesson at 7:30, dance 8 to 11:00

*Rafael Galante* is coming to teach workshops! He will be here from *April
17th to April 27*, at the same time Nora Distillo, our good friend and
fantastic dancer from Buenos Aires is here. Many of you met Nora in BA. We
have 10 days worth of  workshops, parties, classes, milongas, movies and
more planned!

Rafael told me that he specializes in Vals, as he sees it is not taught
often enough. He is also going to do some work with us with Canyengue while
here, and has some old videos to show us! Musicality is also important to
him, as it is to me, so we will be sure to hit that hard. He will be
available for privates, of course, on a first-come, first-serve basis.
