[Tango] Tango this week!

I know it gets a little confusing every year when I leave for Buenos Aires. I don't leave
until November 14th, so you can still get some classes and your privates in. After that,
Dieter will run a practica ($5) and keep the party going on Tuesday nights. I'll be back
for class December 9th.  Only 3 Thursday and 4 Saturday classes are cancelled.Check the
website if you forget.

 Because our classes will be at 3142 1st Ave S, we will focus on floorcraft. We will study
how to effectively navigate the dancefloor, no matter what the traffic. Lots of small
moves, evasion techniques and directional ideas, and strategies to keep your partner, the
music, the floor and all the other dancers in mind when you dance. You will learn the
"rules of the road" and of course we'll practice all of this!

Leaders:
What to do when the traffic stops. How to effectively use the smallest opening.

Followers:
A leader won't ask you to dance if he is not able to keep you safe.  How to keep your feet
under you and get your leader to trust you. How to find and play in the space that the
leader gives you

We will also discuss how to have the proper mindset and etiquette to get multiple dances in
Bs.As.

(Sometimes the people who need this the most don't know it. Please feel free to forward
this to people who you feel need it. But also remember, the only person we can fix is
ourselves!)

Tuesday Election Night Party! and Milonga Martes:  Go vote, and come to Tuesday night
lessons (at 3142 1st Ave).  Then at 9:30, hang around and join us for an Election night
party on November 4th. We will gather around the TV, or maybe just dance. And eat. All
political affiliations are welcome!

Thursday, November 6th - It's time for Babalu's! Nice dance floor, early night, and now
FREE! We
start at 7:00, and usually end by 10, depending on who's interested in staying.

Remember that I move ALL the classes to 3142 1st Ave S. during November AND December.
