The big change for this week: The Code for Old Arizona has CHANGED! It is now 24135. Of
course, you can always ring the bell and we will come down and let you in.

We'll continue the secada challenge this week, working in the crossed system. Thursday we
will tackle some of those Barridas and Paradas that were taught at the workshop weekend,
and I will help you to make sense of them. They are not so difficult, when you approach
them right! We'll start in the open system, as they were taught, but many can be done in
close embrace.

Milonga Martes: Every Tuesday at 9:30, 3142 1st Ave S. Bring wine or contribute to the
kitty.

This weekend - if anyone is interested in going to the Tango Camping Weekend at Dent MN but
want to carpool, let the list know. Email tango at donnay.net. Here's the info again. Sounds
like fun!:
We're at Lakeside Camp, 40225 Purlieu Rd / Dent MN 56528 (google map quest for directions)
As you know, this is our first Tango Weekend at the Lakes and we want YOU to bring your own
music and join us for the Holi/day or for the entire Memorial weekend, FREE!
We extend this invitation to all those who want to dance and have some solitude at the
lake. This year there will be no teachers and no classes; Just Dancing. We do ask that
you come with ideas for a fall Tango event and offer suggestions for next year.
We have an environmentally friendly Camp. We only ask that you conserve the resources
while you stay and clean up after yourselves before you leave. Bring your pillow and a
sleeping bag for your bunk bed in the dorms. You'll need soap and towel for hot showers.
Bring a swim suite and fishing gear if you like. (No gasoline engines on the lake. We have
room for tents - No RVs, Maplewood State Park is just 7mi east of here; check out what they
have available if you want.)
We have a dining hall or nearby cafe (5 min drive to Dent). We can arrange meals if you
let us know ahead of time. Or Bring your own burgers to grill. We can have a cook out and
a camp fire...
Otherwise just ride up together for a Great Time!!! Small is beautiful and a bigger
group is fine as well. Be prepared to dance. Either way, we are getting ready for a fun
filled weekend. Welcome to Tango at the Lakes. Because we want to dance...

Coming up: Asthma Fundraiser Dance at O'Gara's Bar & Grill in Saint Paul. May 30. (week
after Memorial Day weekend) Who can forget that great chocolate buffet!

Mandragora plays May 31st at Tapestry.

Outdoor tango at Sea Salt, the seafood restaurant at Minnehaha Park. 4th Saturday of June.

This year is the 10th Anniversary of my first trip to BA. (That one was in February) This
year the trip is in November. Do you want to come along? I go for a month, but you don't
have to spend that much time. Come when you want, and leave when you need to. Let me know
if you are interested, and I'll put you on the "interested" list.
