Lots of things happening this week, including the Heartland Tango Festival! Please see the
information below.

In Tuesday night classes, we will review vals, plus do a little floorcraft training. I
trust that the people coming in to town for the festival will have good floorcraft, but we
have to make sure that our local leads and follows are a model, not a problem.

Thursday classes will focus on open embrace. Once you get close embrace down, you can start
to open the embrace. Don't forget the Following for Leaders class at 7:00! The followers
are getting good - ladies who want to lead are encouraged to come. Practicing floorcraft
for women is important - do this in class before you take it to the milonga floor.

Tuesday party is on as usual! Some people have been using this opportunity to do a little
wine-tasting. We also always do some cheese and chocolate tasting as well! 9:30, 3142 1st
Ave S

Sunday I have a big class (40+) at Tapestry, 38th and Minnehaha) from 7 to 8:30. These
people are almost all completely brand new to tango. If you are an intermediate or above,
and can spare some time and energy, it would be wonderful if you could come and give them a
taste of how tango feels. Please email me if you can make it.
