Only two more weeks before Milonga Month! As you know, I think learning and understanding
milonga is essential to your tango, so be sure to try and attend. Besides, it's such an
easy dance.... But this week we'll get as much tango technique covered in the classes as
possible.

Outdoor tango is this Saturday July 26th!

Minnehaha park is beautiful this time of year. That means you can bring your friends and
family, and they will have something to do while you dance. I'm bringing mine!

Footwear for dancing outdoors: The cement was smooth and lovely, great for dancing. But
some people wanted to venture out onto the patio. This is very sticky. For this, the harder
the sole the better. Strappy sandals are not good, since they offer little support. Maybe
not your highest heels, either. Go ahead and have fun with your attire!

The Sea Salt has wine and beer, and the food is just wonderful. We start the lesson at
7:00, the dance at 8, and go until they kick us out.

We will not cancel because of weather! (right now forecast to be great!) There is a covered
pavilion. If there are any last minute things you need to check on, call 612.518.4915

Here's a great video from Japan! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4kgJFh9z_eM

P.S.: Florencia suggested we hang lights like they do at La Glorieta in Buenos Aires. Great
idea! Is there anyone who might volunteer to help with this project? I have lights, but we
would need a ladder and some way to hang them up.
