[Tango] Tango and Workshops this week

The introduction to Canyengue went very well last week - we had a lot of fun, and the response from both followers and leaders was excellent. I had a couple of leaders tell me that they loved it, one guy said tango made more sense to him now, and the followers giggled the whole time.  So we will continue on this path in lessons this week, in preparation for Ernest!

THIS COMING WEEKEND!
Ernest Williams will be here Friday night, and his partner Anna will be here to assist with workshops Saturday morning. They still have openings for privates, including Sunday morning. Cost for privates is $65.

12:00 to 1:30   Canyengue 101 - This is the precursor to the statuesque tango that most do today.  It is enjoying a resurgence in popularity and transformation in the 21 st century.  Learn how to dance this style of tango socially at the milongas amongst all those non-canyengueros 

1:45 to 3:15  Tango "Million Crosses" How many ways do you know how to do a cross? 1 or 2?  Let's add some more to your repertoire.   


3:30 to 5:00   Milonga Beyond Traspie - Milonga Candombera!, Milonga Habanera?, Milonga con Clave?  Milonga is not just milonga anymore.
