[Tango] Tango this week

Milonga month continues!  We are going to ramp it up this week with some
work in traspie. Adding this to your milonga really makes it fun! Being able
to lead, and follow,  traspie is challenging, but will be really good for 
your
tango. Don't know what this is? You definitely need to come to class! We are 
working on milonga in the Following for Leaders class also.

Tuesday party is on as usual, with the addition of some birthday leftovers.
Stop by for a bit and have some fun! 9:30PM, 3142 1st Ave S.

Starting next week, Wednesday FEBRUARY 27TH, : Swing and Salsa! I have
gotten many requests to start these lessons, so I will do a series starting
next Wednesday. 7:00 West Coast Swing - a very popular dance locally, and
about as close to tango as a dance might get. Often danced to blues, it is
very flexible and is danced to everything from Ice-T to Sinatra. I will be
starting a series in Swango soon (tango plus WCS), so you'll need this if
you want to participate.
8:00 - Salsa! Salsa is more popular in Buenos Aires than tango, proving that
you can do more than one dance. Easy and energetic - this is the dance that
will help you to stay fit and burn some calories!

Tuesday Classes held at Old Arizona Studios, 2821 Nicollet Ave S. 55408:
Beginners 6:30 PM - Tuesdays (Intermediates welcome to come early)
Intermediates - 8:00 PM Tuesdays

All other classes held at: 3142 1st Ave S, Mpls, 55408:
Beginners 10 AM Saturdays, Following for Leaders 8:30 PM Mondays ($10)
Advanced - 8:00 PM Thursdays  -

 Cost is $14 per person per class

Just drop in! No partner necessary. All classes emphasize authentic
Argentine tango.
