Milonga month continues.... We've seen some nice progress already. Let me
repeat one of the favorite phrases that I hear from my students: "It's so
easy when you do it right!" So let's see if we can help it be easy by
learning the tricks to do it right.

Tuesday beginning class at 6:30, intermediate at 8, (both at Old Arizona)
Milonga Martes party at 9:30. Thursday 7:00 is Following for Leaders. This
is a drop-in class, so you can come and try it out and see what it's like.
$10. Leaders (male and female) who want to practice their leading are
welcome. 8:00 is Advanced class, and this week we'll be ratcheting up on
milonga.

Saturday is the Black Dog! Lesson from 7:30 to 8, dance from 8 to 12. Come
early and enjoy some of their great food - all the talk is about the pizza,
but I like the quesadillas. Remember that we begged the staff to stay open
for us until 12, so they are open for us to dance, but cleaning up to close,
for the last half hour. That means we are prompt about leaving at midnight.
I have been throwing in a salsa, swing and some blues in the music set,
which has been very well received. If you have a request, go ahead and ask!

Some of you have asked about upcoming workshops. Robin Thomas is coming back
to town, and I highly recommend taking in some of his instruction while he
is here. He will be back February 29th - March 2nd. Also, the Heartland
Tango Festival will see the return of Alex Krebs and Cecelia Gonzales. That
will be in May.

Have you found tango frustrating? Remember, a little frustration when you're
taking a class is a good thing. It
means you're learning something! You should be worried if you're not
frustrated - that means it's too easy, and you need to challenge yourself
more. I'd be happy to help you get more frustrated!
