I have been answering lots of questions this weekend about the Big Tango New Year's Eve, and I'll share some of the answers with you.

Yes, you can pay at the door. Just bring a check or the correct change to the party. Remember that proceeds are going to two charities, and you can pick your favorite. Either Sharing and Caring Hands or Habitat for Humanity. If you're coming for the dinner, YOU MUST RESERVE!

The dinner will be a buffet so you can arrive whenever you want. Dinner will be available from 8 to 10PM. There will not be assigned seating. You are encouraged to bring your own dinner beverage (wine, beer, Red Bull, etc) although we will have wine, coffee and, of course, champagne at midnight! Water, soda, etc. will be available for a donation.

We will have a few non-tango tandas, so bring your multi-dance-capable friends! This is a great event for singles and couples, and plenty of both have registered. However, if you are a part of a couple it's OK to kiss the single people at midnight, too!

Call for Volunteers
Tapped out? Want to come but can't afford it? We don't want to exclude anyone! If you are willing to work a shift, you can get in for no charge. Pick either 6:30 to 10:00 or 10:00 to 2:30AM. You'll be busy, so don't expect to dance during that time. You are free to enjoy the party before your shift, or stay after your shift is done. The first people to email me will receive the shifts of their choice.

Positions vary by need, but include things like check in, clean up, food service, gofer, etc. We depend on our volunteers to keep everything running smoothly. People who are willing to be responsible and complete their entire shift should apply.
