[Tango] Tango this week

In the next two weeks before I leave for Buenos Aires, we are going to work 
on floorcraft. We will work on the moves that we know, making them small, 
learning how to find the space, use the space, and make the space better for 
the moves you know. We will also learn how to keep our footwork clean for 
both leaders and followers, learn how to understand when leads are asking 
for attention to the space, and learn how to embellish in the space 
available. Followers, this is very important for you! Men will not ask a 
follower to dance when it gets crowded if she does not know these 
principles.

This is Babalu's week, which means no Following for Leaders or Advanced 
class on Thursday. But there is a class at Babalu's for only $5. Come and 
help out with the beginners, as you were helped when you first started! 
Followers especially needed.

Tuesday Night party, starts about 9:30. The party will go on even while 
David and I are in Buenos Aires. There has been a certain amount of 
"shrinkage" in the glassware, so if anyone has a wineglass or two that they 
don't need, it would be welcome.

Thursday, Babalu's is at 800 Washington Ave N, Minneapolis.  Lesson from 
7:00 until 8:00, dance with Mandragora from 8 until 11. DJ'd by Lois. Great 
food, wonderful atmosphere, and a wood floor! It's a great time!  $5

Next week, classes will move back to 3142 1st Ave S, and will be here 
through December. While I am gone after the 9th there will be a practica 
under the watchful eye of Dieter who will be here to tell you to stand up 
straight. And of course that should help you with good floorcraft!

Announcements:
The TSoM milonga will be held for the next six months at the On your Toes 
studio in St. Louis Park. The studio is located at 36th and Highway 100. The 
reason for the move was the unexpected closing of the Hopkins studio.
