Tonight in advanced, we'll continue our look at open, and look at ways to go
from open to closed seamlessly. We'll also check out some exercises that
will prove my assertion that open embrace, done correctly, is more difficult
than closed. Remember - if you come to the advanced class, be ready for
tougher criticism!
Thursday - "it always seems to come back to ochos". That's what a famous
teacher once told me, and I believe it is true. If you can lead and follow
ochos well, you'll be able to master just about anything. So we are going to
investigate them thoroughly.
Tuesday and Thursday classes at 2821 Nicollet S (door code 13524), Saturday
morning at 3142 1st Ave S.
Every Tuesday at 9:30 PM we gather for tango, food, wine and conversation.
Last week we even did a little West Coast Swing, just because we can -
requests are encouraged. 3142 1st Ave S., 55408
This Friday Mandragora will be at the Shakopee Ballroom. Check
www.mntango.org for more info.
I have been getting requests and interest in starting a class in following
for leaders. This would be a one hour class, unlike my other classes. If you
are interested, let me know what night might be good for you.
