LESSONS:
Beginning lessons tonight - ladies, we need you! 6:30PM. Intermediate
follows at 8:00PM. Come for both if you can handle it!

The transition of the advanced lessons to Thursday nights is going
smoothly - I have been working on fundamentals that everyone in tango should
have but sometimes gets lost in our quest for the next "cool move". No move
is cool unless you can lead and follow it right, and that means firm
foundations. Don't get frustrated - if you get to advanced lessons you have
to be prepared for the teacher to pick on you more!
Tuesday and Thursday at Old Arizona, 2821 Nicollet Ave S. Ladies needed for
Beginners for Saturday mornings also. 3142 1st Ave so

Need a "tango tune-up"? Remember that my lessons are drop-in, and you don't
need to call ahead or come for a series. Come in and get an adjustment that
just might answer some long term issues.

PARTIES:
Tuesday Night Party-more fun than ever! Last week was International Night,
with people from Austria, Germany, Netherlands and Romania. Tonight? Who
knows? 9:30, right after lessons. 3142 1st Ave S.

We certainly had another great time at the Black Dog, and both the staff
there and I appreciate your positive comments. GOOD NEWS! The Black Dog has
agreed to get the necessary work done so that they can stay open another
hour! That means we don't have to relocate, repark and buy the expensive
drinks down at Matty B's or MMC, only to have sound system problems or the
wrong music. I might even expand the lesson to an hour! Next one, July 21st

This weekend:
Friday is the wedding of two of my students Gigi and Mark, so I will be busy
that night DJ'ing, teaching and soaking up praise and accolades. (I am
always willing to take all the credit for my student's successes). There is
a very nice milonga at Four Seasons that night. Saturday is the Fourth
Saturday, where we usually have a class and workshop, then go out dancing.
I have suspended that for this month, but we will probably still go out to
find some good blues. For instance, Cool Disposition is back at Half Time
Rec.... Let me know if you want to join us! I'll be - back with another
cool event on the fourth Saturday of July

FUN, FUN, FUN!!
I have been coming to terms with the fact that my life is about providing
opportunities for people to have fun. Please help me by remembering that
dancing tango is fun! So when you're out this week, look around you and
remember the great people we have in this community. Chat with everyone,
dance with everyone, and above all, remember that in tango, as in life, the
more you give the more you get. Stop worrying about your performance, let
your partner in, relax, smile and let tango do the rest.
