11:00 Cover $4 I’m so excited to be back at the Black Dog!!

Outdoor Milonga news – Dave Rost has told me he wants to change the date of
his First Saturday milonga to the last Saturday, so I am changing the date
of the outdoor milonga to July 7th. Old Arizona is not available that day,
so I have found a new location: the Aster Café on Riverplace! The milonga
will start fairly early – about 7:00.

Don’t Forget that if you want to come to Buenos Aires with me, get your
deposit in by July 1st!

As always, visit my website for the latest and best information. The Tango
Society calendar is still in transition, so this is the best place to get
accurate information.

Here's the info on the film screening:

Wednesday night at 9:15 at Riverview Theater.

http://www.48hourfilm.com/minneapolis/

The film title is TimeRevel

by Maria Petrenko

Northern Star Productions

It's a 7 minute fantasy/comedy film about finding true love and passion.

It will be shown with 11 other short films in different genres by other

contestants that day. All films are made as part of the 48 Hour Film

Project competition. To make sure that all films were shot within the

48 hours, the competition introduced these required elements to be

incorporated into all films: 1) a character: Jason Myers, a

veterinarian; 2) a prop: a portable music player; 3) a line of dialogue:

"They will get them if we let them."

The dance scene in the film is rather short (we had to fit the whole

story in less than 7 minutes), but it is very helpful to preserve the

mood and the beauty of the moment.

Thank you very much for letting that happen. You were all fantastic.

Please, come, enjoy the film and vote for it. :)

Best,

Maria Petrenko
