[Tango] Robin Thomas Workshops/Dunn Brothers noon tango

This Friday Robin Thomas from New York will be coming to town. He is a great 
teacher and an excellent dancer and DJ, so catch some classes if you can.

This Saturday at about 12:30 we will be dancing outside of Dunn Brothers on 
the south side of Loring Park to support Sylvia Horwitz and her tango art 
exhibit. Please come to dance or to watch!

Just a reminder of Robin's upcoming workshops.

Don't forget the special event we are having Friday evening.
I am excited to announce, Robin will be the GUEST DJ.
There will also be a performance at 11:00pm.

The class Friday evening is "Milonga Rhythm & Fun".
Robin is well known for his musically playful and expressive milonga.
Come and learn his secrets to dancing to milonga.

Robins' Bio:
A well-known and respected dancer and DJ, Robin's enthusiasm for Argentine
tango can be seen most clearly in his wholehearted dedication to teaching. 
He
believes that it is very important for students to dance simply and 
musically
from the very beginning.

Building that strong base of connection and musicality early, Robin 
believes,
will allow even very new beginners to feel comfortable and confident on a
crowded dance floor and will also lead to a more comprehensive and fluid
understanding of more complicated techniques later on. Robin's teaching 
style
reflects this philosophy, and his students appreciate the humorous but still
down-to-earth way he presents the material.

Recently, he has taught in Portland, Denver, Ann Arbor, Washington DC,
Seattle, Berlin, Edinburgh, San Diego, Providence, Pittsburgh and the 
universities,
Yale, Princeton and Cornell.
