[Tango] Tango events this week

Monday evenings is the Following for Leaders class. There are huge benefits 
to a leader from experiencing what it feels like to be led well vs. poorly. 
Here is what one leader says:  "It makes you better leader...it really does. 
As a  lead you begin to understand exactly what is being asked of you as a 
follower, it also allows you the capacity to break down the dance in a way 
that you hadn't seen before and produce some amazing figures as a lead.  You 
begin to see opportunities everywhere instead of putting your feet where 
they're  'supposed' to be, you begin to experiment and play and create.  Its 
actually quite freeing in more ways than you can imagine possible. I've 
learned that I've become a better leader because I
know exactly what I'm asking my follower to do, because I've done it 
myself.  Its improved my embrace, its improved my communication
skills, its opened opportunities.  I can't stress this enough...leads  - 
LEARN HOW TO FOLLOW!  You'll begin to understand just how frakkin
hard it is to do what some neophyte or experienced lead with an 
over-inflated ego who knows nothing of what its like to follow is asking

Lot's of fun things this week!
First Thursday of the Month, (next one July 5th) Babalu's Latin Restaurant 
is going to host  another Passport to Buenos Aires.
They will have a free tango lesson with Lois Donnay and tango demonstrations 
from 7 to 8PM
Mandragora will play from 8:00PM to 11:00 PM

Free parking on the street
They will have a free wine tasting of Argentine wines and specials on 
Argentine foods.
Cover is $5 includes the lesson and  the wine tasting

Friday is the Shakopee Milonga at the Shakopee Ballroom. Friday July 6.  I 
will teach a Tango Lesson  7:30-8:30pm  8:00-11pm Cost   $8.00

Saturday, July 7th is the Outdoor Milonga.  Yes, Tango under the Stars!! We 
have tried to hold an annual Outdoor Tango event every year, and this year, 
this is it! You do not want to miss this one! We will dance in the 
courtyard, at the Aster Cafe. The Aster is on Main Street in St. Anthony 
Main. The location overlooks the Mississippi River.  125 Main St SE 
Minneapolis, MN 55414  Phone: 612-379-3138   The Aster Cafe has a great menu 
of sandwiches, Summit on tap, and a great selection of wines. We will start 
at 7:30PM   Cover is $5
