[Tango] A new year in tango!

As David and I were driving home last night from 4 Seasons at 3AM, our
second party of the night, we couldn't help marveling at our good luck - it
is so amazing that we get to have this much fun just because we learned to
dance! Well, after a week of practically non-stop partying, it is time to
get back to work. Hopefully there are a couple of people out there who
included tango in their New Year's resolutions.

We are moving the lessons back to Old Arizona Studio as of this week!
Tomorrow, (Tuesday January 2nd) we'll meet at 2821 Nicollet Ave S, in the
purple building upstairs. Go through the door behind the log cabin. You can
park in the huge lot across Nicollet.  The door code is 13524. The Thursday
lessons are there also, but Saturday mornings are still in the studio in my
house, 3142 1st Ave S. 

We are still going out for wine, conversation and dancing after the Tuesday
lessons at JP Bistro, Lyndale near Lake St.

Last week we had a couple of mini-breakthroughs - that's when all the
information that you get finally comes together and you see a big step
forward in your dancing. Hopefully we'll continue to see more of these!

Wednesday, January 17th I will start a series of tango lessons way down
south at the VFW in Prior Lake.  These will be beginning lessons, and the
series will last about 5 weeks. Diane Deckas is the person who is arranging

The Fourth Saturday workshop, January 27th, will again focus on Blues
Dancing and Dancing Tango to the Blues, by popular request. 

February is Milonga Month! This time we will include a little Canyengue.
Also, I am cooking up some cool things for Valentines day with Old Arizona,
which will include tango, wine and chocolate.
