Saturday there is a milonga in Rochester and Dave Rost's in Minneapolis, but
I will be teaching a tango class at 7:30 to the folks at Metro Ballroom in
St. Louis Park. Retro Ballroom of On Your Toes, 5810 W. 36th St., St.Louis
Park, (36th St. W. exit off Highway 100), entrance in rear,$7,
metrodancers at yahoo.com, Ann at 651-699-8832.

>From Bob Barnes - "Sunday, September 2nd, we're holding our regular Sunday
night
Milonga at Tapestry Folkdance Center in S. Minneapolis. Dave Rost will be
spinning the tunes (including some modern ones!) when we're not
keeping you busy on the dance floor. We're in the big room at Tapestry,
which features a huge wooden dance floor and a great sound system.
(Also, there is no kitchen behind the stage, which gets us pretty excited!)
Tapestry is at 3748 Minnehaha Ave S., Minneapolis
(http://www.tapestryfolkdance.org/find_or_contact_us.htm) $9 cover charge
($7 for Tapestry members).

Mark you calendars for next week:
We're playing at Babalu's (800 Washington Ave. N., Mpls:
http://www.babalu.us/) on September 6th from 8 to 11 with a free lesson
from Lois Donnay from 7 to 8.

On September 8th, we're playing at the Mill City Farmer's Market
(between the new Guthrie and the Mill City Museum:
http://www.millcityfarmersmarket.org/) from 11AM to 1PM. There's a
small dance floor and a big opportunity to show off your dance moves (as
well as to buy some heirloom tomatoes)."
