In classes this week we will review and refine some of the things we have
been working on, including the cross. In Advanced, we will explore moving
from open to closed seamlessly.

Come and join us every Tuesday after classes at 9:30 for tango, wine, food
and conversation. If you are not there, you may be the subject of
conversation, so be sure to be there to defend yourself.

Tango at the Black Dog moved this Saturday!
This week, Saturday April 21st is normally the Black Dog tango night,
however, because of the St. Paul Art Crawl, they won't have enough room for
us to dance. So they have found an alternate place for us at the downstairs
community room of the Tilsner Building at 300 Broadway, just next door. It
is an artist's cooperative, and just south of the Black Dog. I will have
signs up.

If you want to participate in the Art Crawl, get more information here:

One of the largest events of its type in the Twin Cities, the St. Paul Art
Crawl is a self-guided tour of 175 artists' studios and galleries in 24
buildings in downtown St. Paul neighborhoods. Art in all media and prices
ranges is available for sale, with something for everyone. Fine arts,
crafts, music and performance, photography, printmaking, textile arts,
painting, bookbinding, pottery, sculpture, jewelry, computer arts, ceramics,
chocolates, and more will be available; with artists ranging from students
to the elderly. Questions about the art and the artists' work and process
are always welcome.
Area galleries that will be open for the Art Crawl include The Grand Hand
Gallery on Grand Avenue, Lisan Gallery on Smith Street, and Evoke Gallery,
Hosko Gallery and Art Resources in downtown St. Paul. The Minnesota Museum
of American Art and the American Association of Woodturners will also be
participating.
The Art Crawl is free, and open to all. Families with children are always
welcome. Disability access is available in most buildings.
Visitors are also welcome to savor the fresh items at the Farmers Market (on
Saturday and Sunday morning, until 1 p.m.).
For parking lots: Please use lots on Kellogg and Broadway, or off of Prince
Street. There is also parking by the Rossmor building, and other lots
throughout the city. Please see the map at www.artcrawl.org for parking
