Lots to talk about this week!

For the months of November and December, I will move my classes back to the
studio in my home. We're getting ready for Buenos Aires, and we need to
dance in small spaces! ((No classes November 17th to December 2nd.)

It appears that we have witnessed the demise of another nice tango place.
Vino 610 is closed for the time being. Last week we ended up back at my
place, which worked out fine since I have a nice dance floor and complete
control over the sound system. We can do that again - bring a bottle to
share, and I might make an appetizer.

What's up for the Halloween weekend? A Halloween Milonga! Trot out your
alter ego Saturday, October 28, 2006 at Oddfellows Hall, Full costumes
encouraged, but not required.  I heard some people's clever ideas this
weekend! 
Time: After the Performance Tango workshop, about 9:00 until 12:30
Cost: $5  No liquor allowed, but feel free to bring a spooky treat to share.

The location of the workshop and the milonga is the Oddfellows Hall, Raymond
and Hampden Aves, St. Paul.  (900 Block of Raymond Avenue) located above the
Hampden Park Co-op on the corner of Hampden and Raymond Avenues in St Paul
(entry on Hampden Ave). This is where we hold the Leading for
Followers/Following for Leaders classes and practica Mondays. Nice, big
floor!
I will also play a couple of tandems of other dance music, so if you are
transitioning from another dance scene, you will be very welcome!

Fourth Saturday workshop, October 28th, 7:30PM: this month is a continuation
of the Performance Tango from last month.  We will go from 7:30 until the
Halloween milonga starts. 

Are you handy? Want to earn a couple of private lessons?  David and I are
fixing up his house in Brooklyn Center in preparation to sell it, and need
assistance on some of the projects.
