<DIV>Hi Lois,</DIV>
<DIV>Happy New Year to you. The last time I saw you nobody had to
tell you to be happy, you were smiling all the time. That was at the
On Your Toes Holiday dance where the Santa girls performed. And
thank you again for the excellent fox trot dance. You are the Queen
of Smooth. I always enjoy seeing you and dancing with
you. You are such a great supporter of <U>Dance</U>.

<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>I know some bands that are able to play well, as follows: Bruce
Bradly Band, Hutchinson, MN. They play variety/swing/polka and some
ballroom. Docs All Star Band from the Alexandria area.
They play real good ballroom. They play at the new Glenwood
Ballroom and other places of course. Myron Summerfeld Orchestra from
Valley City, ND. They play excellent ballroom music and are
usually up north during the summer/fall seasons. If you want the
best get the Bobby Layne Orchestra from Lincoln, Nebraska 402-475-4030.
His is a national band and they have performed for US Presidential
functions. My wife and I have attended several of his dances.
However, maybe only Minnesota based bands would be chosen. I am sure the
band owners would be glad to submit a CD sample to the fair people. </DIV>
