I agree this is a great idea - and here's another: Remember that my West Coast Swing lessons are on Wednesdays at 7:00PM at Old Arizona, 29th and Nicollet. After class, get everyone from the class together and go practice what you've learned! It's really easy - take 28th St, (a great, fast one-way street) east to Hiawatha, then 2 blocks N to 26th, then east to 25th. Turn left then right into Eagle's parking lot. It's about 2.5 miles. Music plays until about 10:30PM. No cover.

I'd come for sure if I didn't have to stay to teach the Salsa and NC2 step classes.

  I've been told the Butanes are no longer at the Eagles on Wed night.  But Willie Walker who got up and sang with them will be there with his own band.  Imagine - a whole night of Willie Walker delivered R&B, soul, etc.  His sound level is very agreeable to the ears and all the music is totally danceable...WCS (primarily), NC2S.  If you enjoyed Willie with the Butanes, now's your chance to hear a whole evening of this great singer and his own wonderful band.
