[MNDancers] Gordon Anderson Visitation/Funeral

Many of you are aware of the sad news of Gordon Anderson passing away on 
Sunday night.  Visitation will be this Thursday, March 5, from 5-7 PM at the 
Morris Nilsen Chapel, 6527 Portland Ave. S, Richfield (612-869-3226). The funeral 
service will be Friday, March 6, at 11 AM at the Minnesota Valley Unitarian 
Universalist Fellowship, 10715 Zenith Ave. S, Bloomington.  The complete notice 
will be in Wednesday's (March 4) paper.  

Gordon, 84, joined the MWCSDC in 1989 (member no. 181) and was a continuous 
member for 20 years. He served on the board, various committees and was 
President in 1995. He and his wife, Correne, rarely missed a dance at the B-Dale 
Club.   He was a very enthusiastic goodwill ambassador for our Club, West Coast 
Swing and the Twin City dance community. 

He was also very involved in many community and political events, such as   
JAYCEE President, State Senate candidate, Presidential elector and Richfield 
Charter Commission member. 

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Correne and their family!   Gordon will be 
truly missed by all Club members!
