I am helping my good friend Lilly Schwartz at Orchestra Hall spread  
the word about this wonderful concert on Thursday night.
I will be there and I hope to see you there too, supporting jazz in  
Minneapolis!

Laissez les bon temps roulez! Irvin Mayfield delivers a foot-stomping,  
roof-raising celebration of his native New Orleans and its diverse  
sounds. With him comes the Crescent City's hottest combo, the Rebirth  
Brass Band, bringing its signature heavy funk to the Orchestra Hall  
stage. Joining Rebirth will be the New Orleans Jazz Orchestra AllStars  
and New Orleans’ irrepressible Queen of Soul, Irma Thomas, on vocals.
