GENERAL NEWS

GREETINGS FROM BUENOS AIRES! about 72 degrees.'Still am doing Arg. tango
every night,icing my feet before going to bed. Tango dancers come from all
over the

world. About 17 million people (and just as many dogs and a few
cockroaches!)live in the BsAs area; few speak English, not all do tango!.
Everyone greets

each other with air kisses and hugs. Great subway system - about 25 cents a
ride, same for bus. My 2-bdr.apt. costs $1220 a mo. I am lucky to have a
tree

with red flowers right off my balcony with a nest of newly hatched birds.
Much trash out on the streets though,even in nicer areas. Streets are
bustling

with people and traffic 24 hrs. a day; drivers don't stay in lanes, they
just do what they want!
