Announcements:
 
 
Correne and Gordon Anderson expect to be back at  dancing shortly after a 
lengthy absence.  Correne has been out for almost  three months from a fall and a 
broken wrist at the Social Dance  Studio.  Gordon has had three trips to 
Abbott Northwestern Hospital  during the same time, the most recent for surgery 
for an Aneurysm in the Aorta  of the stomach.  They say they feel good and are 
looking forward to  returning to their favorite dance, west coast swing.
 
Tickets are on sale now for The Bachelors show, Memories  of the Mills 
Brothers at Tropical Ballroom on Sat. Nov. 29th.  7:00 foxtrot  lesson, 7:30 swing 
lesson, 8:00-11:30pm food, show, and dancing!  $20 per  person.  Reserved

Friday, October 24th from  11:00am-2:00pm:  Birthday potluck lunch gathering 
for Virginia Dietz who  fell at Cinema Ballroom on a slippery spot on Sunday, 
October 5th.  She  fractured her femur and had surgery at United Hospital.  
She is currently  staying at the Hillcrest Golden Living Center (15409 Wayzata 
Blvd, in Wayzata)  in room 159-B until she can return home.  If you can't make 
it to the party  room for a birthday visit, cards can be sent to her home 
address: 4958  Devonshire Circle, Excelsior, MN 55331.

Friday,  October 24th:  MN West  Coast Swing dance at B-Dale Club (2100 N. 
Dale St, Roseville).  West Coast  Swing lesson by James & Tricia Wood 
7:30-8:30pm.  Halloween costume  dance with DJ Loren  Greenberg 8:30-12am.  Halloween 
costumes encouraged!  Potluck treats  at 10:00pm.  $5 member/$8 nonmember.  (2nd 
& 4th Fridays of every  month).

Friday, October 24th:  New, Chris  Kalogerson band, at Retro Ballroom of On 
Your Toes in St. Louis Park.  Viennese Waltz lesson by Jeff Nehrbass at 7:30pm. 
 Dance  8:30-11:00pm.  Dessert & coffee.  $10 per person. 

Friday, October 24th:  Havin' a  Ball singles dance with City Lights band at 
Fridley VFW.  7:30pm Hustle  lesson by Rick & Flory.  8:30-12:30 dance.  $12.  
 

Friday, October 24th:  Free Salsa  lesson by Drew of Tropical Ballroom from 
9:00-10:00pm at Mi Familia Mexican  Restaurant in Woodbury, 1750 Weir Drive- in 
the same mall as Tropical Ballroom.  Free margaritas for ladies.  No cover 
charge!  (Once per month,  as scheduled).
