Can you believe it is already October?
I have an interesting mix of gigs coming up this month plus one for a  
great cause on November 1, 2008 for the Philips Eye Institute.
The event will be at the very swanky new W Hotel in the new renovated  
Foshay Tower. Details below.

Minneapolis Vocalist To Join the Shack Pack! Jazz - Christine Rosholt

The Shack Pack is excitedly looking forward to Friday and Saturday,  
October 17th and 18th, when the talented Minneapolis jazz vocalist  
Christine Rosholt will join them on stage in The Shack Show Room. The  
Shack Pack will include the usual suspects, only this time around  
Peter Provost will be pressed to his limits as he and Christine trade  
vocal riffs for our listening enjoyment.
This show came together after Christine stepped on stage during the  
Shack Pack's August 23rd performance.  She had been performing in  
Duluth earlier in the day, and stopped in to check out the local jazz  
scene.  After a rousing and entertaining session that included a solo  
by each Shack Pack band mate, as well as give and take between her  
and Peter, everyone in the audience knew this just had to happen again.
