9:00-10:00pm at Mi Familia Mexican Restaurant in Woodbury, 1750 Weir Drive- in the

Friday, September 5th: Classic Ballroom (in Four Seasons Mall: 4228
Lancaster Ln. N. Plymouth)- 7:10pm, two 30 min. lessons (one beginner, one bronze &
up), practice party from 8:00-9:00pm. $15 per person, or $10 for party only.

Civic Park in Burnsville from 7-11pm.

Saturday, September 6th: Join us at St. Boni's Fall Festival at 90th Street
and 10th Ave in Bloomington (between 12th Ave and Portland Ave exits from
494). Parade at 10:00am, followed by kids games, activities, petting zoo,
Bingo tent, beer tent, silent auction tent, live bands with portable dance floor,
great food, cash raffle drawings, and more!
Saturday, September 6th: ForDanSa (Chinese-Amer. ballroom dance club) hosts
their monthly dance at ERV Dance Studio (816 1/2 Mainstreet), Hopkins tonight
instead of the 4th Friday. 7:00pm International Rumba lesson. 7:45-11:00pm
ballroom & Latin variety dance. $10 per person.
Saturday, September 6th: 1st Saturday of the Month Swing Dance at the
Tapestry Folkdance Center in Minneapolis. Christine Rosholt and Beasley's Big
Band will be playing. Lesson at 7:30pm, Dance 8:30pm-12:30am. $10, $8.
Saturday, September 6th: Metro Variety Dance at Retro Ballroom of On Your
Toes School of Dance (5810 W. 36th Street, St. Louis Park, MN 55416). Rumba
lesson by Scott Anderson at 7:30pm. Variety dance with DJ David Olson 8-11pm.
$7 per person. (1st Saturday of every month).
Saturday, September 6th: Havin' a Ball singles dance at Fridley VFW to
Sugar Tree band. Lesson 7:30, Dance 8:30-12:30, $12.

the Eagles Club (at 25th & 25th in Minneapolis). Lesson by Loel & Jean

nonmembers. (1st & 3rd Sundays of every month).

table by Mon. Sept. 15th for $20, or at 20% commission of sales if you don't
need a whole table. Seller is responsible for their own sales, trades, swaps,
bartering, and cash till. Sellers may also bring in a portable coat rack to
hang their items by their table.

Hi Tricia,
I am sending this message to you in hopes that you will pass it on to anyone
you think might be able to help.
I am looking for someone with a connection to the State Theater in
Minneapolis. There is a children's concert there on October 5th performed by The
Laurie Bernker Band. Our daughter, Brogan (she's 3 1/2), is in love with
Laurie!!! She talks about her every day, sings her songs, wants to go visit her at
her home, tries to call her on the phone...Yes, I had to put the phones out
of her reach because simply starts dialing numbers in hopes that Laurie will
answer.
Brian and I are taking Brogan to the concert but I was hoping to find
someone who could help me arrange for Brogan to meet Laurie. Perhaps someone with
a connection to the State Theater or maybe someone at a radio station in the
area that is promoting the concert. Anyone.
I realize Laurie will be very busy that day. I am willing to meet her any
time or any place that her schedule allows. I am only asking for a few
minutes, just enough for Brogan to say "Hi" and give her a hug. It would really
make Brogan's day!!
If you could pass this on to anyone you can think of that might be able to
help, I would appreciate it. I know the dance community is quite large and
diverse. I am hoping someone can help me with my request.
