Join us this weekend at Woodbury Days!  Tropical Ballroom has a  business 
booth Friday from 4:00pm-9:00pm, will teach Tango & Salsa on stage  Friday from 
6:00-6:45pm, business booth Saturday from 9:00am-9:00pm, Sunday  
10:00am-5:00pm.  We also have a Tropical float in the parade Sunday at  1:00pm!  This is a 
huge event for Woodbury.  We are platinum level  sponsors (we donated over 
$6000 in dance lessons for prize packages, volunteers,  bingo tent, hosted an 
Awesome August Event, etc.!)  You can win dinner  & dance packages at our booth 
thanks to teaming up with both Keys Cafe and  Mi Familia in our mall, intro 
dance packages, wedding packages, etc.  Look  for us, booth #31- we will have our 
portable dance floor set up too!  We're  also unit 21 out of 100 in the parade 
(3 miles long, takes over an hour).   Woodbury Days includes Taste of 
Woodbury, food, 3M Car show, bingo, carnival,  busiiness fair, parade, fireworks, 
Boogie Wonderland, the Dweebs- both great  dance bands, etc.  Visit

exit east on Valley Creek Rd (from 494), take your  first right on Woodlane.

Thursday,  August 21st: At the Tapestry  Folkdance Center: East Coast Swing 
and Lindy Hop class, Cindy & Terry  Gardner teach, 6:30-9:30pm, $9/$7 members & 
students.  Late Nite DJ  Swing Dance, 10pm-1am, $6/ $4 members & students. 

Friday, August 22nd:  Don Riggs Big Band at Shakopee Ballroom.  No lesson.

Loren Greenberg 8:30-12am.  $8 member/$5 nonmember.  (2nd & 4th Fridays of every 
month). 

Friday, August 22nd:  Retro Ballroom Back Pack dance- Bring school  supplies

Fri / Sat / Sun, Aug. 22-24:  Tropical Ballroom is a platinum sponsor for 
Woodbury Days!  We will  have a business booth Friday 4:00pm-9:00pm and perform & 
teach Salsa &  Tango on stage from 6:00-6:45pm; Saturday 9:00am-9:00pm; and

Ballroom!  5:00-8:00pm, $5 if you bring food to share, otherwise $10.  You may

SPECIAL  INVITATION: 
Tropical Ballroom  is starting a Beginner-Bronze level Formation Team to 
rehearse Thursdays from  8:00-9:30pm Sept. 4th through Oct. 30th, and will perform 
in our first dance  showcase, Saturday, Nov. 1st at 6:00pm.  $120 per person 
includes all 9  weeks of 1 1/2 hours, entry fee, ticket, food, and 
choreography of the Tango  & Cha-Cha routine.  Call Tricia & James at (651) 414-0644 or

inquire or sign up!  A formation team is a group performance, but you will  need a
