Just the other day a gentleman and I were lamenting the problem of going to ballroom dances
and, when they play a tango, there is not a single person, leader or follower, to dance it
with.

If you have been away from tango, or considering starting, this is the time. During the
month of August I focus on the tango dance Milonga. Milonga is a faster tango dance, and is
often easier to learn. Many of my best students started with milonga, and of course my
students are my best
advertisement. Milonga is great for leaders because it's all about the feel and technique,
without needing to master lots of moves. For followers, the speed of milonga helps your
quickness, while reducing anticipation. If you have been in tango for awhile, but are still
uncomfortable with milonga, you'll make great strides in your tango if you work on your
milonga.
