Outdoor tango is this Saturday July 26th!
Minnehaha Park is beautiful this time of year. Last time several people brought their
friends and family. They will have all kinds of things to do while you dance. I'm bringing
my family! "Overlooking the Mississippi River, Minnehaha Park is one of Minneapolis' oldest
and most popular parks, attracting over ½ million visitors annually. The 193-acre park
features a 53-foot waterfall, limestone bluffs and river overlooks."
The Sea Salt has wine and beer, and the food is just wonderful.
http://www.seasalteatery.com/ They were voted Best Seafood Restaurant by City Pages. (Ty
the fish tacos!) We start the lesson at 7:00, then dance at 8, and go until they kick us
out.
We will not cancel because of weather! (right now the forecast is very promising!) There is
a covered pavilion. If there are any last minute things you need to check on, call

No need to worry about footwear for dancing outdoors: The cement is smooth and lovely, and
great for dancing. But some people wanted to venture out onto the patio. This is very
sticky, so you may need to change shoes. Here's a great video from Japan!

P.S.: Florencia suggested we hang lights like they do at La Glorieta in Buenos Aires. Great
idea! I would love to do that. Is there anyone who might volunteer to help with this
project? I have lights, but we would need a ladder and some way to hang them up.
