PLEASE WRITE: to Paul Hokeness at minneapolisparks.org re: Lake Harriet Bandshell. Request that 1. the planters and the platform containing benches and gravel be moved away from the front of the stage over to the sides of the bandshell; 2. ropes be placed to block this area during concerts so people can dance and bikers/runners/dogs do not cross during a concert; bikers and pedestrians can walk around the back of the bandshell during this time.

TIP: When doing nightclub 2-step, keep your shoulders parallel to your partner - do not open up into a V-shape as if you were going to do a side break. Glide to the side, then step straight back when doing the small rock step. This will keep your dance looking smooth and lovely.
