            Here is a great opportunity for anyone who wants to make money with the Legendary Arte Phillips.  The cast will be coming from New York to perform for 2 months in a Broadway show call 'SWING' and they've  asked for me to be one of the dancers, but I declined and promised them that I will put words out through my email to ask my students or other salsa dancers.
             
            The cast and Arte Phillips will be doing audition this Saturday at Chanhassen starting at 12 pm.  They are looking for few dancers who can do swing, salsa and little of hustle.  Arte Phillip will be choreographing the salsa routine which is a new feature added to the show. They also said they need 2-3 men who can do my style of salsa dance which is very mamboish which, include dancing beautifully with the women and show them off including doing some tricks.  
             
            The show will pay each individual $600.00 a week maximum depending on how you perform and show will run from August to October 7pm daily and twice on Wednesday and Saturday.  Practice starts July for 2 weeks I think from M-Sat noon -5pm.  Total per month is $2400.00 per person. This is million dollar events so the money is there.  
             
            Think about it if you do well and you dance well, they can add you to the cast and you may start to travel all over U.S. 
             
            Too bad Lisa and I would have been perfect for this, but I don't have time to commit for 2 months due to bigger commitments in California.   I strongly recommend some of you professional salsa dancers and those of you that I have trained in the past doing tricks to give this a try. No partner necessary!
