Announcement/Update:
Tropical Ballroom (owned by James & Tricia Wood) is opening soon in Woodbury!
Valley Creek Mall (Woodbury's only indoor mall, next to Keys Cafe), just
west off Hwy 494 & Valley Creek Rd.
1750 Weir Drive, Woodbury, MN 55125, (651) 414-0644.
TENTATIVE Grand Opening date may be Saturday, June 28th.
We have a temporary spot in the same mall, that we're using for private
lessons during construction. Group classes will start in July in our big space!
Construction: knocked down all the walls; put in a coat room and storage
room; we are putting in brand new bathrooms- 2 stalls each male & female,
handicap accessible; putting in drinking fountains; raising the ceiling; putting
sound installation in all walls; installing our hardwood floor; carpet around
the floor; tables and chairs; couches at front windows; and more! Tropical
Ballroom is 4700 square feet, all one big open ballroom, on main floor, huge
lit parking lot, no poles on the dance floor, dance floor is competition-size.
We have two sets of double glass doors in front to the mall, and solid glass
windows, and two separate back doors that open to a delivery roadway in
back. We have three bamboo tiki bars... you'll get to see it soon!

Friday, June 6th: Jerry O’Hagen 14 piece Orchestra at On Your Toes/Retro
Ballroom in St. Louis Park. Waltz lesson by Jeff Nehrbass at 7:30pm. Dance
8:30-11:00pm. $12 per person. Reserved Section for singles. This is a 1 year
celebration of opening Retro Ballroom of On Your Toes School of Dance. Cake
and coffee served.

celebrating their daughter Suzanne's graduation from Minnehaha Academy High
