CORRECTIONS/ADDITONS to the newsletter I sent out on May 14:

TONIGHT, FRIDAY, MAY 16

1. CANCELLED TONIGHT AND FOR JUST THE SUMMER:  FRIDAY NIGHT SWING/VARIETY PARTIES at Stark's.(Wednesday and Saturday country dance parties will continue.)

2. ARG. TANGO MILONGA at Four Seasons, 9 - 1, $7 is taking place, DJ Michael Cordner.

3.. NEW!  SALSA ON FRIDAYS at Picosa Restaurant, 65 Main St.S.E., #143, Mpls,.8:30-1:30, $5, save receipt for validated parking in ramp on 2nd St. S.E., 612-746-397, DJ's Timon and Anonimo.

4.. SALSA /LATIN BAND, Raffy Castillo and Grupa K-liente, at Babalu, 800 N. WashingtonAv., Mpls. on Friday nights, 9 - 2, $10. Also on Sun., May 18.  Other salsa/Latin music on Saturdays and Mondays. 

3. NOTE FROM MIRIAM McCURRAN ABOUT SOS CLUB:  " ...would like to let you all  know about a great place to dance in Oakdale.  http://www.sossocialclub.org/   It gives some info and location, but isn't totally up to date. . ....I am one of the rotating teachers on Fridays... run by Ken Douglas who managed the Camel Club on White Bear Av....is clean, well decorated, great music, friendly people and just a great place.....Ken is open to new ideas ...Loren Greenburg teaches WC Swing on Tue. and Thur. nights. ...  Interm./Adv. line dance lessons 7-9:00 pm on Wed. with Jodi Wittman, and Fri. nights is a line dance lesson at 8:00 with open dance party after ....  non-alcoholic bar,  no smoking, no drinking or drugs, $6, food and drinks, Pizza Man next door. Come and check it out.  I think you will be pleasantly surprised.  We have lots of fun ...Ken says he will expand the dance floor if attendance increases. " 

SATURDAY, MAY 17

CANCELLED:  DANCE PARTY at the TC Davis Bed and Breakfast in Farmington.  Also cancelled for future Sat. nights.

CONGRATULATIONS to Dee Wolff and Steve Krueger on their marriage today!  Celebrating will be at Stark's Saloon in Eagan at the regular country dance DJ'd by Bob Wood, cake provided, $5.
