Mondays for 3 weeks starting Monday, May 5th at 7:00pm. $5 per night. Learn the

Ln. N. Plymouth)- 7:10pm, two 30 min. lessons (one beginner, one bronze & up),

Friday, May 2nd: Tango Milonga and Latin & Swing variety dance at ERV
Dance Studio (816 Mainstreet, Hopkins), sponsored by Lois Donnay, 9:00pm. (No
lesson). Assorted deli items, fruits, and veggies provided. You’re welcome to
bring something to share. $10. Music includes 45 min. sets of tango
varieties, 15 min. sets of Latin & swing variety, throughout the night. FMI, Dan

Friday, May 2nd: This is the last Swing/variety dance by Bob Wood on a
Friday at Stark’s Saloon until Fall. (Country nights on Wednesdays & Saturdays
will continue). 8:00pm, $5.
Friday, May 2nd: Jerry O’Hagen 14 piece Orchestra at Retro Ballroom of On
Your Toes in St. Louis Park. Foxtrot lesson by Amy Anderson 7:30pm. Dance
8:30-11:00pm. Cake and coffee served. $12 per person.
Fri & Sat, May 2-3rd: Coulee Country Dancefest in LaCrosse, WI at the All
Star Banquet Center. Friday: pizza buffet and open dancing. Saturday: dance
workshops and demos, open dancing in evening. Line dancing and partner
dancing with regional instructors. !950’s theme, dress the part if you wish.

Fri & Sat, May 2nd & 3rd: Alfalpha Males country/variety dance band is
playing at Castaways in Excelsior (21960 Mtka. Blvd, formerly St. Alban’s Boat
House), 9:00pm-12:00am.
Saturday, May 3rd: Cinco de Mayo celebration at Mi Familia Mexican
Restaurant at 494 & Valley Creek Rd. in Woodbury—come early to eat with James and
Tricia at 7:30pm or so. James and Tricia are teaching a free Salsa lesson from
9:00-10:00pm. A Latin DJ will play dance music from 10:00pm-2:00am. No
cover charge! Great authentic food, and over 100 tequilas to choose from.

Maki & Joyce Thompson at Lafayette Country Club (Wayzata/Minnetonka Beach).

Tapestry Folkdance Center. 7:30-8:00pm tango lesson by Ralph Tutilla. 8:00pm dance
will include French Musette, Gypsy Swing, Latin & Tango. Dance music DJ’d
during band breaks. $9.
Saturday, May 31st: Alfalpha Males country/variety dance band is playing
at the Eagles Club at Trappers Bar & Grill (6810 Lake Dr, Lino Lakes),
9:00pm-1:00am.
Saturday, May 31st: The Fugitive band (Elvis, ’50s, ’60s, ’70s) at
