Announcement:
 
Social  Dance Studio (co-owned  by Joy Davina and Todd Paulus) is  opening a 
new location at  3742 23rd Ave S, in Minneapolis.  NEW  DATES due to 
construction:  Pending City Inspections, Club Salsero  will be April 18th, Club Swing 
will be April 19th, Performance Team auditions  will be April 20th, and all 
classes will commence Monday, April 21st.  Group class expirations will be 
extended  by 2 months.  They are sorry for any  inconvenience.

Thursdays:  Ballroom dance at 9:00pm at Dancers  Studio-Woodbury, $15. 
Friday,  April 11th:  Café Bailar (Ballroom & Latin  variety) dance at Retro 
Ballroom of On Your Toes School of Dance (5810 W. 36th  Street, St. Louis 
Park, MN 55416).  East Coast Swing lesson by Monica Mohn 7:30-8:30pm (in prep of 
our sock  hop Apr. 26th).  Dance with D.J.  David Olson 8:30-midnight.  $8

fellow-dancer Glen Orcutt who lost his Lakeville home in a fire a few weeks  ago.

Friday,  April 11th:  MN West Coast Swing dance at the B-Dale  Club in 
Roseville.  WCS lesson by  Loel & Jean Brandstrom 7:30-8:30pm.  Dance with DJ Loren 
Greenberg 8:30-12am.  $8/$5.  (2nd & 4th Fridays of every  month). 
Friday,  April 11th:  Benefit Dance and Talent Show for dancer  Mikael 
Rudolphs’ cancer treatment at Classic Ballroom in Plymouth.  All proceeds go to his 
medical  deductible and lost income.  To  perform a talent, call 763-519-1314. 
 $15 per person.  Checks and  cash only, to Mikael.  8:00-10:00pm.  Silent 
auction  including handmade necklace, European facials, private ballet lessons, 
golf  accessories, pottery, spectator packages to the Snow Ball, and  more! 
Saturday,  April 12th:  Ballroom dance hosted by Sondra Chan of  
GottaDanceNow, at Lifetime Fitness at 35W & 98th Street in Bloomington.  6:00 Cha-Cha 
lesson.  7:00-10:00 dance.  Open to the public, $10 per person  includes admission 
to the club, dance lesson, and refreshments.  Beginner-friendly. 
Saturday,  April 12th:  Tango Society Argentine Tango dance at  On Your Toes 
School of Dance (5810 W. 36th St, St. Louis Park).  Lesson 8:00-9:00pm, Dance  
9:00pm-1:00am.  $10.  (2nd Saturday of every  month). 
Saturday,  April 12th:  Echo’s of Elvis with guests The  Fugitives band at 
Medina Entertainment Center (Hwy 55 west), lesson 7:30pm,  dance 8:30pm, $12.  A 
Thank  God I’m Single  (TGIS) dance. 
Saturday,  April 12th:  Midnight Star showcase at Dancers Studio  in 
Woodbury.  Judges will give  dancers feedback.  Amateur dancers,  professional show, 
social dancing, 6:00-10:00pm.  Tickets on sale  now. 
Saturday,  April 12th:  Salsa lesson at 8pm, live Latin band at  9:00pm, DJ’d 
music during band breaks, at ERV Dance Studio in Hopkins,  $10.

Ballroom in Chanhassen.  Salsa & Cha-Cha lesson by Dipendra Thakur 7-8pm, Dance 
8-11pm.  $10, $7, $5. 
Saturday,  April 19th:  Argentine Tango with Lois Donnay at  Black Dog Café 
in St. Paul.  Lesson  at 7:30pm, Dancing 8-12:00.  $4 per  person.  (3rd 
Saturday of every  month). 
Saturday,  April 19th:  Havin’ a Ball singles dance at Fridley  VFW with City 
Lights band.  West  Coast Swing lesson by Caroline Olson at 7:30pm, Dance 
8:30pm-12:30am.  Singles and Couples welcome.  $12 per person. 
Saturday,  April 19th:  Alfalpha Males country/variety dance  band is playing 
at the Eagles Club at 25th & 25th in Mpls,  8:00pm-12:00am.

Sunday,  April 20th:  Rebels Swing Dance Club’s west coast  swing dance at 
Retro Ballroom (St. Louis Park).  Temporary location conflict at the  Eagle’s 
Club.  Lesson at  7:00pm.  Dance 7:30-10:30pm.  $6 members, $10 nonmembers.

Lakeside Ballroom in Glenwood, MN.  Basic Rumba & Tango review lesson 3:00-3:45pm, 
and then Dance  4:00-8:00pm.  $10 per person.  All are welcome.  No jeans or
