Wednesday,  February 20th:  Dance party at Tapestry Folkdance Center  with 
Duayne Wincell and Cindy Quinn, 7-10:00pm, variety of Night Club 2-Step,  Swing, 
Country, Ballroom, and Latin.  $5 per person.  (Bring your  favorite CDs!) 
Thursday,  February 21st:  Newcomer Night at Dancers Studio (99  Snelling Ave 
N, St. Paul)– all beginner new people get in free for lessons at  8:00pm. 
Friday,  February 22nd:  Bob Benham’s Little Big Band at Shakopee  Ballroom, 
8:00-11:00pm, $8.00 
Friday,  February 22nd:  ForDanSa (a/k/a Chinese Amer. Ballroom  Dance Club) 
hosts their 4th Friday of the month dance at the newly remodeled ERV  Dance 
Studio (816 1/2 Mainstreet, Hopkins, MN 55343– above Mainstreet Bar &  Grill).  
Waltz & Foxtrot lesson  at 8:00pm.  Dancing 8:45-11:00pm,  $10 per person.

Roseville.  WCS lesson by  Caroline Olson 7:30-8:30pm.  Dance  with DJ Loren 
Greenberg 8:30-12am.  $8/$5.  (2nd & 4th  Fridays of every month). 
Friday,  February 22nd:  Latin dance night at Blue Moon Ballroom  in 
Rochester.  7:30-8:15pm Salsa  level I lesson by Joseph Tsehai and Ann Dolan.  
8:15-9:30pm dancing.  9:30-10:15pm Salsa level II lesson.  DJ: Julio with Caribbean 
and Latin dance  music. 10:15pm-12am Dancing.  $10  advance/$12 at the door. 
Saturday,  February 23rd:  Café Bailar (Ballroom & Latin  variety) dance at 
Retro Ballroom of On Your Toes School of Dance (5810 W. 36th  Street, St. Louis 
Park, MN 55416).  Triple Time East Coast Swing lesson by Sondra Chan 
7:30-8:30pm.  Dance with D.J. David Olson  8:30-midnight.  MEMBER APPRECIATION  DANCE! 
 Free to all current members  and those who join tonight, otherwise $10 per 
person.  POTLUCK!  Please bring a dish to share.  ELECTIONS!  Members vote for 
new 2008-2009 Board of  Directors.  Café Bailar is a  registered non-profit

rock and roll) band at Medina Ballroom, 8:30pm-12:30am, $12 per  person.

Dancers  Studio on Snelling Ave in St. Paul– they will no longer be using the 
studio on  the south side due to opening a new studio in Woodbury in late 
March.  Monday’s swing classes will soon be  taught at the Woodbury location 
instead, and Scott’s Wednesday group classes  will also be canceled at the St. 
Paul location. 
Lessons  by Duayne Wincell & Cindy Quinn for 6 weeks starting Feb. 27th at 
the  Tapestry Folkdance Center:  $50 per  person or $10 per walk-in.

Bob  Wood is helping to remodel Stark’s Saloon – taking out the stage and 
back bar  and removing the far tables all to make more room for dancing.  Expect 
country & swing on Wednesdays  and Saturdays, and Swing & variety on the 1st 
& 3rd Fridays of the  month.  All dances will be  $5. 
Social  Dance Studio, now co-owned by Joy Davina and Todd Paulus will be open 
in March  in a new location: 3742 23rd Ave S, in Minneapolis.  (612)
