[MNDancers] Beautiful Mississippi Boat Cruise on the Betsey Northrup, Sunday September 23

Thank you, Lois, for putting on this wonderful event again this year.  

We appreciate all your hard work. I know it is certainly not a profit endeavor, but a labor of love. We thoroughly enjoy this every year, and are looking forward to it. 

We'll be practicing the skills you taught us (Night Club two-step, hustle?) enjoying the wonderful scenery along the way.  And relaxing with a cocktail when we're not dancing.  

The scenery is wonderful! The weather has always treated us well, with beautiful sunny skies.  A variety of music to enhance the experience (I personally know the DJ, she takes requests, and is all about ensuring a good time). 

If the Indian summer temperatures elude us, there is the enclosed deck with lots of windows!

I encourage everyone to bring your friends!  Don't keep this great event a secret! The more the merrier! The non-dancers can relax with a cocktail  and a snack and enjoy the river on a lazy Sunday as we stretch out an extra day of summer, and welcome the fall colors!

PS. Hey, can we mix in a Polka? We can skip the chicken dance, but maybe I (we?)  can find us some flying dutchmen  (butterfly) music and really mix things up! .........on the lower deck, of course, because I can't swim!

St. Paul. Boarding at
2:00PM

They call her the party barge! We'll be cruising the
Mississippi - Big boat! Big dance floor! And nice and
stable to dance on. The main deck is heated and
air conditioned, and it is the largest single room in
their fleet. The open second deck offers tremendous
sightseeing along the river, and more room to
dance! The barge is very quiet as the engines are on
the push boat. She departs from Harriet Island, St.
Paul, MN 55107.  Cash bar.

$25 in advance, $30 at the boat.  Check out last
