[MNDancers] DANCE on Sat.; Cancellations, etc.

These items are in addition to the "Dance News" I sent on Monday:

SAT., SEPT. 8
VARIETY WEDDING DANCE/RECEPTION for Jason Barnes, champion dancer and instructor, and new bride, Amy, at Cinema Ballroom, St. Paul, take Snelling Av. south of 94, pass Macalaster College, turn east on St. Clair,  7 - 12 pm. All are welcome!!  ('Sorry this is a late notice, I just got the confirmation Thursday afternoon.)

There is no CABDA ballroom dance party in Hopkins.  The next one is Oct. 6.

"Alfalpha Males" (variety dancing) is not playing at the St. Bonaventure Fall Festival, but will play at Minneapolis Eagles Pork and Corn Feed, 25th & 25th In Mpls., outside 1-3: pm, followed by the Front Porch Swingin' Liquor Pigs from 3 -5 pm. 

FRI., Sep. 7 - The Classic Big Band is NOT PLAYING at Medina.

SUN., Sept. 23
2:00 sharp - DANCE PARTY aboard the Betsey Northrup on Mississippi River; board at Harriet Island in downtown St. Paul, take Wabasha south over the river from Kellogg Blvd.; nice and stable to dance on, main deck is heated/air conditioned, upper deck offers views and more room to dance and is partially shaded; very quiet as the engines are on the push boat, cash bar, possibly some junk food for sale, meet under the pavilion right by the entrance to the boat, Arg. tango lesson on the boat, $25 advance, $30 at  boat.
