Every  Thursday:  The  newly opened Classic Ballroom in Plymouth offers 
bronze and silver level group  classes at 7:30pm, followed by open ballroom dancing 
8:00-9:00pm.  $15 per  person. 
Friday,  August 24th:  MN  West Coast Swing Dance at B-Dale Club in 
Roseville.  West Coast Swing  lesson by James & Tricia Wood 7:30-8:30pm.  Dance with 
DJ: Loren  Greenberg 8:30-12.  $5 members/$8 nonmembers.  Snacks to share always 
 welcome. 
Friday,  August 24th:  Don  Riggs Big Band at Shakopee Ballroom.  No lesson, 
just dance  8-11:30pm. 
Friday,  August 24th:   Alfalpha Males at Schooner Tavern 
Friday,  August 24th:  The  Darlene Nelson Band (Rockabilly, Country, and ‘
50s) is playing at the Crystal  VFW (5222 56th Ave N), 8:30pm. 
Friday,  August 24th:   Ballroom dance at Foster’s Dancesport Studio (816 1/2 
Mainstreet),  Hopkins.  8:00 Merengue lesson, 9:00-11:30 dance.  $8/$5, FMI:

Spa near Uptown,  8-11pm.

Saturday,  August 25th:  Café  Bailar (Ballroom & Latin variety) dance at The 
Retro Ballroom of On Your  Toes School of Dance (5810 W. 36th Street), St. 
Louis Park, MN 55416.   Lesson 7:30-8:30pm.  Dance with D.J. David Olson 
8:30-midnight.   $8/$10. 
Saturday,  August 25th:   Ballroom, Latin, Swing variety dance at Blue Moon 
Ballroom in Rochester,  7:30-11:00pm, $8/$6. 
Saturday,  August 25th:   Tango Milonga by Social Dance Studio at Anew 
Fitness and Spa near Uptown,  9pm-12am. 
Saturday,  August 25th:   Alfalpha Males at the Eagles Club (25th & 25th in 
Minneapolis). 
Saturday,  August 25th:   Country Night at the SOS Club (1417 Helmo Ave N), 
Oakdale. (651) 735-2400.   $5 or $3 with food shelf donation.  Contest– wear 
your best country get  up.  Starts at 8pm. 
Saturday,  August 25th:   Havin’ a Ball singles dance hosts a Beach Party 
Ball with the Castaways band at  the Legion (12375 Princeton Ave, Savage).

Sunday,  August 26th:   Salsa night with Charanga Tropical Band at Varsity
