Friday,  May 18th:  Country and  Swing dance at the Retro Ballroom of On Your 
Toes in St. Louis Park!   Country 2-Step lesson by Owen & Diane Seeley 
7:30-8:00pm.  Dance  with DJ: Skip Schletz 8:00pm-12:00am.  $8 per person.  The 
Retro  Ballroom is connected to On Your Toes School of Dance: 5810 W. 36th Street, 
St.  Louis Park.  Directions:  From  north:  394 to Hwy 100 south, exit 36th 
Street, follow exit as it curves  right, turn right on 36th Street, left on 
Yosemite to enter new back parking  lot.  From south:  494 or 62 to Hwy 100 
north, exit 36th Street, turn  left and cross over the Hwy 100 bridge.  Turn right 
on Yosemite to enter  new back parking lot. 
Friday,  May 18th:   Ballroom variety “Practice Dance” by Sondra Chan, Samba 
line dance lesson  7-7:30pm, dance 7:30-10:00pm at Lifetime Fitness at 98th 
Street in  Bloomington.  $10 includes lesson, dance, and beverages.  WCS and NC

Ballroom.  No lesson,  just dancing from 8pm-12am. 
Friday,  May 18th:   Parkinson’s disease benefit at the Polish American Club 
in St.Paul.  Music  and dance lesson by Tom Larson.  Lesson 7:30, Dance

Saturday,  May 19th:   USA-Dance with other dance clubs (Café Bailar, MN WCS, 
Tango Society, Retro  Ballroom, etc.) are hosting the Dance Extravaganza at 
the Summit Dance Shoppe  off of 494 & Hwy 55 in Plymouth.  Four studios of mini 
lessons, demos,  social dancing, and free food all night long.  $8 admission 
includes  all.  7:00-11:00pm.  Schedules will be available at the door.   
Lessons include Waltz by Brian Baker, Rumba by Scott Anderson, Samba by James  & 
Tricia, Tango by Rebecca, and many more!

Wednesday,  May 23rd:  ABCs  of Asthma-Auction, Blues, & Chocolate, 
6:30-11:30, walk fundraiser, silent  auction, chocolate buffet, live music at the 
Eagles Club: 2507 25th Street,  Mpls.  Free parking.  $20 suggested cover.  
Chocolate buffet,  lesson by Lois Donnay 10-11:30, door prizes, band: the Butanes

Stan Ponkin and Lisa Neuburger  (from the Tapestry) 7:30-8:30pm.  Dance with D.J.

Saturday,  May 26th:   Alfalpha Males country band is playing at the 
Minneapolis Eagles Club (25th  & 25th).  Music starts at 8pm. 
Saturday,  May 26th:  It  sounds like there’s another Hangar Dance– David 
Andrew’s big band (mostly  swing), at Anoka Cty Airport in Blaine, 8pm-12am.

Saturday,  May 26th:   Ballroom DJ Mix– smooth, rhythm, swing, Latin music
