[MNDancers] MWCSDC: 25th Ann. Dance

On behalf of the Board, I want to thank the many dancers who made it out 
last Friday to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the  Mn West Coast Swing 
Dance Club.  It was truly a wonderful, special event due to your presence 
and the fine efforts of a small band of dedicated individuals whose goal 
it was to provide a memorable evening.   

I want to thank our newsletter editor Dorothy Jones and Board Members Paul 
Gorgos, Joanie Taylor, Christine DeGonda and Elaine Loesch for their 
assistance in setting things up and making the table decorations and 
programs.  Thanks to Fred Atkinson for arranging the door prizes.  Joanie 
Taylor, as she has so capably done for the last several Anniversary 
Dances, provided the overall leadership and "theme vision" for the event. 
 The one person I unfortunately overlooked in my comments during the dance 
break was the multi talented Ray Stiff.  Ray designed and produced the 
musician silhouette cutouts and lighted city scape that stood behind the 
DJ equipment.  The set added so much to the glitz and ritzy theme of the 
evening.  My deep thanks go to all of you for a job well done.
