VERY SAD NEWS:  

MARY DARE, a ballroom dancer, passed away on Feb. 26 while in Florida.  Her funeral was Mar. 7 in Elk River.  Obituary was in Mar. 4 StarTribune. ('Sorry not to get this info. out earlier - I was out-of-town.)

JASON BARNES is moving to No.Carolina in April.  (Happy part :  He is engaged to Amy Crowninshield.)   If you have never taken a  lesson from Jason in WC Swing or Night Club 2-step, please do so now!  612-414-4095. Jason is a national champion.  He teaches NC 2-step correctly, that is:  during the rock step you are to take a small step straight back and stay parallel with your partner's body rather than hooking one foot way behind the other thus opening your bodies and looking like clods!!  (farewell party is Fri., Mar. 16 at Cinema.  See below.)
