Country_ (http://www.jammincountry.com/)  in Walker,  MN.  The line up 
includes: Deana Carter, Asleep at the Wheel, Danielle  Peck, Katrina Elam, Blue 
County, Terri Clark, Bomshel, Dierks Bentley, Randy  Travis, the Grascals, SheDaisy, 
 Big and Rich with Cowboy Troy.   $80/$100.  (I hyperlinked this to their

Friday,  June 29th:   Bruce Bradley big band at Medina Ballroom.  Lesson 
7:30pm, Dance 8:30pm,  $9. 
Friday,  June 29th:   Alfalpha Males (country band) playing at the Hopkins 
Legion post 320 (10 12th  Ave, Hopkins), 8:30pm-12:30am. 
Fri  & Sat, June 29th & 30th:  The  Darlene Nelson Band (Rockabilly, Country, 
and ‘50s) is playing at the Red Fox  Tavern in Lakeville, 9:00pm. 
Saturday,  June 30th:   Dance, Juke Box Heroes– classic rock and oldies band, 
7:30pm-12am, $10/$8, Blue  Moon Ballroom in Rochester. 
Saturday,  June 30th:  TGIS  dance at Medina Ballroom, to The Rhythm Junkies 
(Rock, Soul, R & B, Live),  lesson 7:30pm, dance at 8:30pm, $10. 
Every  Sunday at Cinema  Ballroom: Ballroom Dancing to Jerry O’Hagan 
(w/Charmin Michelle)  Orchestra.  7-10pm.  $12 per person, or $8 with college ID.  
Sunday,  July 1st:   Christine Rosholt and band are playing at Hot Summer 
Jazz Fest brunch, 1010  Nicollet Ave S, Mpls. 
Friday,  July 6th:   Retro Ballroom’s Prom Dance/’20s-’30s era dance party.  
Flapper dresses,  prom dresses, suits, and tuxes admired.  Walt lesson by 
Jeff Nehrbass  7:30-8:30pm.  Dance 8:30-11:00pm.  $8 when you show any current 
dance  club membership card, $10 guests.  Singles and couples always  welcome. 
Friday,  July 6th:   Mandragora Tango Orchestra at Shakopee Ballroom.  Lesson 
7:30-8:30pm, Dance  8:30-11:30pm. 
Friday,  July 6th:   Classic Big Band: Glen Miller sound.  Lesson 7pm, dance 
8pm,  $10. 
Friday,  July 6th:   Latin dance with DJ Julio Conde at Blue Moon Ballroom in 
Rochester.   7:30pm-12am.  $10/$8. 
Saturday,  July 7th:   Metro Variety Dance at The Retro Ballroom of On Your 
Toes School of Dance (5810  W. 36th Street), St. Louis Park.  Cha-Cha lesson by 
Brian Baker  7:30-8:00pm.  Dance with DJ: David Olson 8:00-11:00pm .  $7 per  
person. 
Saturday,  July 7th:   Christine Rosholt and band are playing at Tapestry 
Folkdance Center, for TC  Swing’s 1st Saturday of the month swing night.  7:30 
lesson, 8:30-12:30  dance.  $10/$8. 
Saturday,  July 7th:   Ballroom, Latin, Swing, Jazz, and Blues dancing at the 
Blue Moon Ballroom in  Rochester, 7:30-11pm.  $10/$8. 
Saturday,  July 7th:   Alfalpha Males (country band) playing at the Mpls 
Eagles Club (25th & 25th),  8pm. 
Sunday,  July 8th:   Christine Rosholt with Beasley’s Big Band are playing at 
Como Park Pavilion in  St. Paul, 7-8:30pm. 
Thursday,  July 12th—Saturday, July 14th:  Twin  Cities Open ballroom 
dancesport competition, held at the Sheraton south Hotel  (formerly the Radisson), at 
494 & Hwy 100 in Bloomington.  Free  parking.  FMI, email _Scott  and Amy
