Matty B’s  supper club has cancelled all music until further notice.  They 
will most  likely start music again in the fall. 
Thursday,  July 19th:   Christine Rosholt with Beasley’s Big Band are playing 
at Wabasha Street Caves,  7-10pm, $7 cover. 
Friday,  July 20th:  Country and  Swing dance at the Retro Ballroom of On 
Your Toes in St. Louis Park!   Country 2-Step lesson by Owen and Diane Seeley 
7:30-8:00pm.  Dance with DJ:  Skip Schletz 8:00pm-12:00am.  $8 per person.  The 
Retro Ballroom is  connected to On Your Toes School of Dance: 5810 W. 36th 
Street, St. Louis  Park.  Park in back! 
Friday,  July 20th:  Bob  Benham Little Big Band at Shakopee Ballroom.  No 
lesson, just dance  8:00-11:00pm. 
Friday,  July 20th:  Keith &  Gary Narducci band playing at Hopkins VFW: 100 
Shady Oak Rd, just north of  Excelsior, 8:00pm-12:00am. 
Friday,  July 20th:   Gotta Dance Now (Sondra Chan) and Cheek to Cheek are 
co-hosting a picnic and  dance at Cheek to Cheek in Coon Rapids.  7:00-10:00pm.  
Bring a lawn  chair.  Watch demos, participate in a Jack ‘n Jill contest, and 
social  dance.  $15 in advance, $20 at the door, 763-755-3644.

in Rochester.   7:30pm-12am.  $10/$8.

the Blue Moon Ballroom in  Rochester, 7:30-11pm.  $10/$8. 
Saturday,  July 21st:  USA  Dance’s monthly dance held at the Retro Ballroom 
of On Your Toes (5810 W. 36th  Street), St. Louis Park, MN 55416 (Park in 
back).  Waltz and Rumba lesson  by Jeff Nehrbass 7-8pm.  Dance with guest DJ 
8-11pm.  $10/$7/$5.   *Special demonstration at 9pm by Nels P. & Teresa K. and 
others competing  smooth at Nationals in September.

Saturday,  July 28th:   Summerfest at the Maplewood Moose Lodge (1946 English 
St), 12:00-4:00pm, rain or  shine, free country music by Sugar Tree band, 
horseshoe tournament 11am ($5  entry fee), dart tournament 1pm ($5 entry fee), 
food, pop, water being  sold.  This is the first time this event is open to the 
public. 
Saturday,  July 28th:   Swing Challenge bake sale, fundraiser, potluck, dance 
at Harmonies Dance Center,  Bloomington.  8-8:30pm Int. WCS lesson by Erica 
Berg, Dance with DJs Erica  Berg, Gail Zimmerman, Bob Wood 8:30-12am, $8 per 
person.  (This is to raise  money for Rebels Swing Club’s Masquerade Ball 
competition/convention weekend in  October).
