Thursday,  July 5th:   Country dancing at Valentino’s (1/2 mi. north of 494 
on Concord St.) South St.  Paul, good music and dance floor. 
Thursday,  July 5th:   Keith & Gary Narducci band playing at Tanner’s Station 
Steakhouse (13655  Martin St), Andover, from 8:30pm-12:30am. 
Thursday,  July 5th:   Babalu Restaurant is having Argentine night– tango 
lesson by Lois Donnay 7-8pm,  dance to Mandragora 8-11pm, and wine tastings, $5. 
Friday,  July 6th:   Retro Ballroom’s Prom Dance/’20s-’30s era dance party.  
Flapper dresses,  prom dresses, suits, and tuxes admired.  Waltz lesson by 
Jeff Nehrbass  7:30-8:30pm.  Dance 8:30-11:00pm.  $8 when you show any current 
dance  club membership card, $10 guests.  Singles and couples always  welcome. 
Friday,  July 6th:   Mandragora Tango Orchestra at Shakopee Ballroom.  Lesson 
7:30-8:30pm, Dance  8:30-11:30pm. 
Friday,  July 6th:   Classic Big Band: Glen Miller sound.  Lesson 7pm, dance 
8pm,  $10. 
Friday,  July 6th:   Latin dance with DJ Julio Conde at Blue Moon Ballroom in 
Rochester.   7:30pm-12am.  $10/$8. 
Friday,  July 6th:   Keith & Gary Narducci band playing at Rochester VFW post 
1210, from  7:30-11:30pm. 
Fridays  and Saturdays at the SOS  Social Club (1417 Helmo Ave, in Oakdale)

Toes School of Dance (5810  W. 36th Street), St. Louis Park.  Cha-Cha lesson by 
Brian Baker  7:30-8:00pm.  Dance with DJ: David Olson 8:00-11:00pm .  $7 per  
person. 
Saturday,  July 7th:   Christine Rosholt and band are playing at Tapestry 
Folkdance Center, for TC  Swing’s 1st Saturday of the month swing night.  7:30 
lesson, 8:30-12:30  dance.  $10/$8. 
Saturday,  July 7th:  TGIS  dance to Memphis Band (rock ‘n roll) at Shakopee 
Ballroom.  Lesson 7:30pm,  Dance 8-12. 
Saturday,  July 7th:   Ballroom, Latin, Swing, Jazz, and Blues dancing at the 
Blue Moon Ballroom in  Rochester, 7:30-11pm.  $10/$8. 
Saturday,  July 7th:   Alfalpha Males (country band) playing at the Mpls 
Eagles Club (25th & 25th),  8pm. 
Sunday,  July 8th:   Christine Rosholt with Beasley’s Big Band are playing at 
Como Park Pavilion in  St. Paul, 7-8:30pm. 
Sunday,  July 8th:   Charanga Tropical– salsa (and jazz) dancing at the 
Varsity Theater in  Minneapolis at 9pm. 
Thursday,  July 12th—Saturday, July 14th:  Twin  Cities Open ballroom 
dancesport competition, held at the Sheraton south Hotel  (formerly the Radisson), at 
494 & Hwy 100 in Bloomington.  Free  parking.  FMI, email _Scott  and Amy

Lesson by Joy Davina  and Todd Paulus 7:30-8:30pm.  Dance with DJ: Loren 
Greenberg 8:30-12.   $5/$8. 
Saturday,  July 14th:  TGIS  dance at Medina Ballroom featuring Monarch– 
music from 1950s-today.  Lesson  7:30pm, dance 8:30pm, $10. 
Saturday,  July 14th:  ‘60s  & ‘70s dance at Blue Moon Ballroom in 
Rochester, 7:30-11pm.   $10/$8. 
Saturday,  July 14th:   Havin’ a Ball singles dance at the KC Hall (6831 Hwy 
65 NE), Fridley, Rockin’  Hollywoods band.  Lesson 7:30pm, Dancing 
8:30pm-12:30am.  Singles  dance, but open to the public, $12. 
Sunday,  July 15th:   Rebels Swing dance at the Eagle’s Club in Minneapolis.  
Lesson  7:00pm.  Dance 7:30-10:30pm.   $6/$10.
