Wow, it's not even March yet and look at all these dances that have come  
through for the month already!
 
 
Friday,  March 2nd:   Trailer Trash is playing at Lee’s Liquor Lounge at 
9:15pm.  Dan Newton (aka  Daddy Squeeze) will be on accordion.  Post-Mardi Gras 
delights, western  swingin’, and polka madness.  People love this band! 
Friday,  March 2nd:  Club  Salsero Latin dancing at Cinema Ballroom, 
8pm-12am, $10/$15. 
Friday,  March 2nd:   Country and Swing variety dance at Shakopee Ballroom.  
Line dance lesson by  Lynn and Elaine Boergerhoff 7:40pm.  Couples lesson 
8:00.  Music by  Bob Wood. 8:20-midnight.  This might be the last Country dance by 
Bob Wood  at Shakopee Ballroom until next Fall. 
Friday,  March 2nd:   Julio Conde, Caribbean & Latin American Music at Blue 
Moon Ballroom in  Rochester.  Salsa lesson 7:30-8pm.  Dance 8-midnight.  Adults 
 $10.  Kids under 18 $8. 
Friday,  Mar. 2nd & Saturday, Mar. 3rd:   Brett Michael & Western Breeze 
country dance band is playing at the Red Fox  Tavern in Lakeville. 
Saturday,  March 3rd:   Fundraiser Dance at Kato Ballroom, (300 Chestnut 
Street) Mankato, MN.   Music by the Echos Big Band.  8pm-12am.  All proceeds will 
be donated  to Kids Against Hunger.  $10 per person.  Showcase dances during 
band  breaks.  Crazy chicken dance and polkas.  Sponsored by Autumn Hansen  and

Saturday,  March 3rd:   Metro Variety Dance at Harmonies Dance Center (10726 
France Ave S),  Bloomington.  Waltz lesson by Caroline Olson 7:30-8:00pm.

membership card (i.e.. Café Bailar, USA-Dance, Rebels, etc). 
Saturday,  March 3rd:   Swing Street– swing, jazz, smooth music at Blue Moon 
Ballroom.  Dance  lesson 7:30-8pm taught by Fred Astaire Dance Studio, dance 
8pm-midnight.   Adults $10, youth under 18 $8. 
Sunday,  March 4h:   Rebels West Coast Swing Dance Club dance at Harmonies 
Dance Center in  Bloomington from 7-10:30pm. 
Friday,  March 9th:  Café  Bailar (Ballroom & Latin variety) dance at On Your 
Toes School of Dance  (5810 W. 36th Street), St. Louis Park, MN 55416.  
Lesson 7:30-8:30pm.   Dance with D.J. David Olson 8:30-midnight.  $8/$10. 
Friday,  March 9th:   MNWCS Club dance at B-Dale Club (2100 N Dale St), 
Roseville.  Lesson by  Loren Greenberg 7:30-8:30pm.  Dance with DJ: Loren Greenberg

Friday,  March 9th:   Rockin’ Hollywoods at Withrow Ballroom.  
Saturday,  March 10th:   “Havin’ a Ball” singles dance at the Bloomington

Saturday,  March 17th:  St.  Patrick’s Day dance with Trailer Trash band at

Saturday,  March 17th:   Buddy Holly Tribute with Richie Lee and the fabulous 
‘50s at the Kato Ballroom  in Mankato.  (Rescheduled from snow storm Feb. 
24th).

Club, music by Bob Wood  8:00-12:30pm.  Wear green!  $7.

dinner, dance,  or $10 for dinner and dancing.  No discount for Rebels 
members; not a  Rebels-sponsored dance.  Hosted by Bob Wood, Gail & Bob Zimmerman,  
Jason Barnes, and Erica Berg. 
Friday,  March 30th:   Harmonies Dance Center’s last West Coast Swing dance. 
Friday,  March 30th:   Mandragora Tango dance at Shakopee Ballroom. 
Friday,  March 30th:  Last  dance night at Harmonies before the building gets 
torn down.   Potluck.  Lesson by Loel Brandstrom 8pm, dance 8:30pm.  Music by
