BALLROOM DANCE PARTY at The Dance Shoppe , 8 - 10:30 , by Scott Anderson, only $10.
He has a regular beginners' lesson for an additional $10 at 7 pm which is night-club 2-step tonight.

The dinner/dance with the "White Sidewalls" at Kato Ballroom is TONIGHT, Feb. 9 instead of Feb. 10. $30/$10 dance only.  The correct phone # is (507)625-7553.

WC Swing Dance at B'Dale Club features Soleman Krebs teaching the lesson t 7:30.

SAT., FEB. 10
The VALENTINE DANCE PARTY at Triune Hall, 1898 Iglehart, St. Paul,  from 7 - 11 includes just very short 15 min. lessons for beginners, probably at 7 & 9 pm with help available during the entire evening; otherwise its strictly dancing (cha cha, rumba, salsa, EC swing) on a nice wood floor; view of stars, soft drinks/snacks, wine permitted, $7/$12 for couple, hosted by Gibson Batch, a ballroom and Arg. tango dancer; his correct address is glbatch1 at earthlink.net

VARIETY DANCE by 3M  at Polish Amer. Club features Steve Lee teaching waltz at 7:30.

Argentina-Themed Event at Nochee's, 500 Washington Av. S., Downtown Mpls.

5:30 - Arg. Tango Open Dancing (DJ "El Toro" Dan Larson) & Wine Tasting (Septima wines from Argentina)

7:00 -  Dinner:  Mixed Salad, Empanadas, Chorizo, Argentine Cut Beef (or vegetarian option), Flan for dessert, Beverages: sodas, coffee, wine.

Argentine Movie will be shown during dinner: "Valentin," received "Two thumbs up!" by Ebert and Roeper, about a young boy coming of age, somewhat humorous??. 

After movie/dinner:  Dan will play more tango music for dancing.

$29- $40 (depending on whether you order wine with dinner) for all this.
