Hello Dancers!  
 
This is Nat'l Ballroom Dance Week, so there are a lot of great events going  
on!  First of all, I want to remind you that the Cafe Bailar dance this  
coming weekend will take place at Shakopee Ballroom (the big fundraiser benefiit  
dance), on Sunday, Sept. 24th from 3-7pm (instead of the regular Saturday night 
 at On Your Toes).  We are giving a way a FREE ticket on the  Dancers Studio 
Cruise, including roundtrip airfare!  Raffle  tickets are only $5!  Please

Monday,  September 18th:   USA-Dance is performing at the Mall of America 
rotunda.  7-8:30pm.   Performers need to arrive at 6:30pm.  Any member of 
USA-Dance may  perform.  Costumes are great.  For more info, contact Yvonne at (763)

Wednesday,  September 20th:  FREE  Latin Dance 9:00pm, after our Salsa 
lessons at On Your Toes (5810 W 36th Street,  St. Louis Park).  Beginner Lesson 
7-7:50pm; Intermediate Lesson 8-8:50pm;  $15 per class or buy 6 for $60.  Dance 
party is free (in honor of Nat’l  Ballroom Dance Week), hosted by James & 
Tricia! 
Friday,  September 22nd:  MN  West Coast Swing Dance Club, held at B-Dale 
Club (Roseville).  WCS lesson  by Soleman Krebs & Tricia Parker 7:30-8:30pm.  
Dance with DJ: Loren  Greenberg 8:30-midnight.  $5/$8. 
Saturday,  September 23rd:  Café  Bailar Dance is cancelled, due to hosting a 
big event Sunday at Shakopee  Ballroom!  See below: 
Sunday,  September 24th:  WIN  A 7-DAY CRUISE WITH AIRFARE!   The three major 
sponsors (Café Bailar, Dancers Studio, and On Your Toes) have  teamed up to 
give away a 7-day cruise on the Dancers  Studio cruise!  This  package includes 
roundtrip airfare!  Raffle  tickets are only $5 each!   The cruise includes 
Puerto Rico, Aruba, Curacao, St. Maarten, and St.  Thomas.  Travel with other 
dancers from Sun,  January 28th—Sun, Feb. 4th, 2007! 
The drawing  will be held at Café Bailar’s variety dance & showcase at 
Shakopee  Ballroom.  The event will take place from 3:00pm-7:00pm.  See details  
below- 
Café Bailar Dance  Club (Ballroom and Latin), has been asked to sponsor 
Redeemer Lutheran Church’s  Youth Program in urban north Minneapolis by raising 
$5000 for a permanent,  raised hardwood ballroom dance floor, at what the kids 
call: “The Peace  Palace.”  After talking with their Pastor, Jeff Nehrbass 
(owner of On Your  Toes School of Dance in St. Louis Park), Café Bailar Dance Club 
has accepted the  challenge of meeting this goal.  The time and labor of 
installing and  finishing the dance floor has already been donated by a group of 
people from  Owatonna, MN.   
Café Bailar will be  hosting a Variety Dance, Showcase, and Raffle on Sunday, 
September  24th, 2006 from  3:00-7:00pm at Shakopee Ballroom.  We are still 
looking for additional  raffle items (such as private lessons or dance 
admission passes), and we are  still looking for people to perform dance showcases for
